i love making muffins. i love making muffins with my girl. i found this new, delicious recipe for banana muffins and had to make them with kyri on thursday morning. kevin was home (best buy cut his hours again temporarily they say, we'll see). it was a joy having him home another day this week, but it is bitter-sweet because he really needs and wants to be back at 40 hours a week. praise the Lord for his raise because without it, i don't know how we would be paying our bills right now. so on to the muffins...they were aaaaamazing! i found the recipe here on a mom's blog and couldn't resist. i do love banana muffins, any kind of muffins actually, and it was fun trying something new. i'm pretty sure it was the sour cream in the mix and the crunchy, crumbly topping that made them so dreamy! kyri was eager to help mommy make them and the whole family was very eager to eat them! i will definitely be adding these to my recipe collection. i just posted the recipe on momfaves.com , which is our friend's, josh and rebecca, new website for moms that is now up and running. it is a way for other moms to connect and share their favorites with each other...from recipes to restaurants to remedies. my profile name is "baking beauty". if you are mom, check it out and make a free profile so you can get in on the sharing! ok. i'm done for tonight. time for bed and church in the morning!

thanks so much for the shout out and post on momfaves. Those muffins *really* are good, yeah? So glad you tried them. I have my eyes on the fruit bowl, hoping my girls won't want the 2 ripening bananas sitting there . . .
