mother's day this year started a little bit sad for me...kyri and i took kevin to the airport. he will be in minneapolis for his best buy training. this is going to be a hard week having him gone. i know kyri will miss her daddy and i will miss my husband everyday, terribly. he arrived to his destination safely and has already got to meet up with a couple of friends that were his roommates at simpson. so nice for him to have friends close by!my mom made my mother's day. she came up from paradise and stayed with kyri and i overnight. when kyri got up from her nap, we went to roseville to do some shopping. kyri loves loves loves having her nana here. my mom gave me a giftcard for old navy, which was perfect. i found two shirts at old navy for $11! what a deal! we went to pei wei for dinner and it was extra delicious. i think i could eat there everyday! the best chinese food. our last stop was target and my mom bought some summer clothes for kyri. can you believe it is going to be 100 degrees here on thursday?! i'm so not ready for nasty, unbearable heat. after we put kyri to bed, my mom and i enjoyed the angel food cake that i made and we watched a movie. we watched "p.s. i love you" and it was quite the tear-jerker. i really liked the movie, but it probably wasn't the best idea because her husband dies in the beginning and it is all about her getting over him. not so easy to watch when your husband is away. i miss him dearly, but i know this week will go by so fast. i have someone staying with me every night so i won't be alone. i have such great friends and family!

Happy Mother's Day ( sorry it's late). You are such an awesome Mom. Sorry to hear the hubby is out of town. I just watched PS I love you too. That is a hard movie to watch. Doesn't go to well with the prego hormones haha. Well I hope the rest of your week goes fast.
