the first stop of our date was to see iron man. what a great movie! kevin and i both loved it and would recommend it to anyone. we drove down to old sacramento and had lunch at joe's crab shack. the food was yummy...i had a big salad with coconut shrimp on top and kevin had crab stuffed shrimp. we both love seafood so it was a perfect meal. we had to get a fun drink of course, so we split a strawberry swirl margarita. mmmm mmmm good! i haven't been to old sacramento in probably 10 years. it is right on the sacramento river and there are tons of little shops. we just walked around after lunch and enjoyed being outside. we bought some salt water taffy to treat our friends for watching kyri. it was such a relaxing date. we weren't on any time frame and knew we could get back whenever and kyri would be perfectly fine. those dates are the best...when you can just be at peace and enjoy being with your sweet husband. it was a spectacular way to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. i love getting away with kevin. he just makes me smile and fills my life with more joy than i could have ever imagined. i love him. and i can't wait to fall even more in love with him in the many more years to come! when we got to josh and rebecca's, kyri ran to us and gave us big hugs! she had a super fun day with friends and mom and dad had a super fun date with each other! an all-around swell day for everyone!

You guys are amazing and truly, I owe my current life to you! If it wasn't for Kevin, I'd never have come out to meet Sarah and Jenni. If you both hadn't pressured me to come out that one Easter, I never would have fallen in love with Jenni and got married to her! I can't believe it's been 5 yrs for you too! And almost 10yrs this summer since you've known each other! Creeeaaaazy!
