friday

yesterday was kevs day off so we decided to go out for the day and make the most of our time together. we started off by going to babies r us for a baby shower gift i needed to get, then over to the mall. we ate lunch at the mall (rubio's of course!) and then we were off to the indoor play area that they have for little ones. while kevin stayed with kyri, i went to american eagle to exchange some jeans. we left the mall with a tired girl, but we had one more stop. costco! no matter what day of the week or what time, that place is always insanely crowded. we needed diapers though so we had to go. it was a great time to be there because they had lots of yummy samples, the best part about shopping at costco! i wanted to buy all of the cheese they had to try. on our way out, we shared a yogurt berry sundae and kyri loved every bite! she fell asleep in the car on the way home because it was totally past her naptime. when we got home i told kevin just to hold her on the couch and this is what happened...

what a long day. daddy and kyri got to take a nap together, which is a very rare occasion, but so perfect for daddy on his day off.
we love fridays.
