if one more nasty cold enters into the lives of my family, i think i might lose my mind! seriously, kyri gets a cold every other week, which means i usually do too. two weeks ago she had a horrible cough with a fever. last week she was finally all better and we were able to go to church. yay! it seems like i am only at church twice a month because either i am sick or kyri is sick. she is a healthy little girl, why is this happening? did you know that most toddlers average 6 colds every cold season? are you kidding me!?
here is my theory...sunday kyri goes into the nursery at church well, and monday she has the beginning of a yucky cold. its either a coincidence every time or that is just the place where she always catches something. i don't know what to do. i don't want to be the anal mother who keeps her child from any social interaction. i miss bible study, our thursday morning playgroup, small group, and church. i just don't think i can handle another cold! i don't want to be a hermit anymore. i'm going crazy!
kyri and i both have it really bad right now. i think this is the worst for me. i can't sleep at night and i have no energy. kyri can't sleep either because she is just coughing all night. we've gone through kleenex like no other and i have no desire to go to target (that never happens!). this is so horrendous! will it ever stop?
sorry, i just had to vent...anyone else dealing with this outrage?

Hugs Sarah! Sorry you've got the yuckies AGAIN! I know how you feel and want to say it gets better when they get older, but it doesn't ;) They just bring more yuckies home from school! But keep your chin up, it will be summer before you know it!
