it just wouldn't be right to take the kids only once to bishop's pumpkin farm! on our second trip, we were joined by a few of our playgroup friends. kyri just lights up when she's with her buddies! friends + bishop's = a perfect pair. it was a very, VERY warm day in october so we didn't stay as long as we would have liked. we packed a lunch and enjoyed another apple slushie (couldn't resist!). we let the kids go in the petting zoo to love on the goats. kyri was all about brushing them and holding the baby goats. kaden...not so much. he wasn't too sure about them so he just clung to daddy. our family needed to get our pumpkins so we made our way out to the pumpkin patch. as i was taking pictures of the kids on the pumpkins, sweat was literally dripping from my face. nasty. i was bummed cause i wasn't able to get as many good shots of the kids or of us all together. so much more difficult with four...and in the deathly hot sun. so we hurried to find just the right pumpkins to take home to carve. found them! we were also sure to stock up on their apple cider, which is heavenly. it is always bittersweet when we have to head home. bishop's...the hornacek family will miss you. here's more memories to share!
