our dearest brother andy, has returned from afghanistan and we couldn't be more thankful! he was deployed in march and arrived back in the states in september. 6 months too long. he is very thankful to be home. home...such a sweet word. brings great comfort. andy came to stay with us for a few weeks before he makes his way to omaha to be with family. kyri and kaden were overjoyed to have so much uncle andy time! they woke him up every morning, which i know he didn't mind. two cute faces is the perfect thing to wake up to! it was lots of fun having andy stay with us and we greatly enjoyed his company. he even watched the kids for kev and i...once for a date-night and also while we made our first offer on a house! he's totally fine with changing diapers too. huge bonus. andy really is an awesome uncle and would do anything for kyri and kaden. kyri has such a special bond with him and is all smiles when he is here. kaden is andy's little buddy and just followed him everywhere. he became so attached and wanted nothing to do with mom and dad...just uncle andy. precious boy.
love you, bro. so happy you are home and safe. proud of you!
