today was my first baby appointment...and we got to finally see our little baby hornacek! kevin was able to come with me, which was so wonderful. the baby was moving all around, dancing for mommy and daddy! we could see the little arms and legs, the heart beating and we got a good shot of the brain too. the nurse was so sweet...i just love her. she said that everything looks perfect. with the pictures, the top one you can see the head and the little arm and leg buds. the bottom picture shows the distance from the top of the head to the baby's bottom...which is about an inch and half. so teeny tiny. i really had no idea how far along i am or what my due date is. i was so excited to find out! i will be exactly 10 weeks pregnant tomorrow, which puts my due date at august 15. a summer baby! i was surprised to find out i was that far along. i'm already a quarter of the way there! it feels so much more real now that we have seen our precious baby, moving inside my belly. we love you and can't wait to meet you, baby love.

Isn't it amazing? Just a true miracle. Yes, there IS a little one growing inside of you so take good care of yourself! :0) Can't wait for his/her arrival! We're excited for you!

Congrats on your newest little one! Our youngest, Brennan, now 17 months, had an Aug. 15 due date, too. He was born a day later on the 16th...and Kayla's birthday is Aug. 20...so we are very partial to those August babies. It's fun to have a summer birthday...pool parties are the best!
