for kyri's third birthday (i can't believe my baby is 3!), we celebrated with a bowling birthday party on new years day! one of the prizes we won was a v.i.p. party at strikes bowling alley. how cool is that?! they have this "back alley" room, which is basically your very own private bowling alley. there are 4 lanes, couches, pool table, t.v.'s, and cool black lights. we were able to invite about 24 people and most everyone was able to bowl too. strikes provided 5 large, yummy pizzas and everyone just had to pay for their drinks. i made mickey mouse cupcakes...kyri wanted a mickey mouse birthday! all of her closest little buddies were there and they had too much fun! grandma, grandpa, uncle andy, and nana also were able to join us for the celebration. the kids got to watch a mickey mouse clubhouse movie while they bowled, as it was played on the huge t.v.'s at the end of the lanes. we only had time to bowl one game, with all of the eating and hanging out going on. kyri received some fabulous gifts from all of her friends and combined with christmas, she now has more toys than she knows what to do with. it really was a dream come true birthday for any child...especially a very special three year old little girl! she now talks about going bowling again every day. what a blessing for our family and how grateful are we that we were able to share an awesome party with those we love so dearly!
after throwing the ball and watching the pins go down, kyri would jump for joy and give hugs to everyone! so excited!
