as of friday, we are officially in potting training mode. kyri is now wearing big girl underwear! i can't believe it is finally happening! we pretty much spent all day friday in the dining area, with her potty, lots of juice, books, and kyri's zoe doll (who was also wearing big girl underwear). it was the longest day of my life. kevin was home, which was a huge help. there was many underwear changes. she didn't like being wet...at all. which is why i think on saturday, she only had one accident. she really doesn't like the feeling of going pee. we can tell when she needs to go, but when we put her on the potty, she just sits there and takes foooorever to go pee! i know the anxiety will eventually go away. at least she knows how to hold it until she gets to the potty! we are excited to be in this stage of life with kyri and the fact that we will spending $40 less a month (diapers)...i just know there is going to be a lot of "kyri, do you need to go pee-pee?" the joys, oh the joys, of potty training!

i got my girls those same elmo panties! they love them, but they just aren't ready for full on potty trianing yet. i don't think i'm quite ready for all the work it takes, too!!! good luck with your big girl!!
I wish I were potty trained. Then I could wear normal pants like everyone else!
I am sure she will get the hang of it very soon! It will give you a break from diapers, at least for a few months :O)
