the hornacek family brought in 2011 their dearest friends, the ernst family! lauri's sister, april, and her two little ones joined us as well. we partied it up with lots and lots and lots of snacks and plenty of games. brian made us pina coladas, which after not having a fruity, alcoholic drink in years...tasted so good! while the kids watched "despicable me" and munched on popcorn, the adults played board games. it was awesome! i love playing games with friends...you always see their goofy side come out! we played the hilarious game, balderdash. i had never played before, but it has quickly become one of my new favorites! somehow we ended up staying until 12:30 and even the kids stayed up too. we put kaden to bed at 8:00 so he missed the big countdown. way too late for our baby boy. kyri and gabriel just have never-ending energy, especially when their together. we did our toast to the new year, popped our poppers, and kissed our loves. a fun and fabulous evening!
