the hornacek family: uncle d.j. and auntie andrea.

this past week, we had two special guests. quite special indeed! kevin's brother d.j. and his wife andrea, were visiting from omaha for four days. they pretty much came to love on our little loves. before they came to lincoln, they were in southern cali visiting family and celebrated their anniversary at disneyland...perfect choice! we were all WAY excited to see them because it had been over a year. too long. they brought gifts from disneyland...a princess cup for kyri and a star wars toys for kaden. boy, did they fall in love with our buddy boy! not hard to do with those beautiful blue eyes. so adorable to see kaden with his uncle deej...instant bond. kyri had so much fun having her uncle and auntie around. lots of playing with barbies, putting together puzzles, reading books, blowing bubbles, and be silly.

we made a day trip to the jelly belly factory, which was just splendid! we got lots of free jelly belly's and tried some quite nasty flavors. for lunch, we went to in n' out...a must when you visit california. kyri really wanted to take deej and andrea to the mall so we spent one afternoon there as well. we had a few relaxing evenings after the kids went to bed, to watch movies and play games. so fun! we love having family in town. all of the hornacek's are just so delightful...we are even more blessed with the addition of andrea to the family! she is so refreshing. so natural with our kids. i just know she is going to be a wonderful mother someday! thanks uncle d.j. and auntie andrea for coming to visit us...we will cherish all of our fun memories together! kaden and kyri think you're both pretty cool. we think so too.
