the hornacek family: the fourth.

red, white, and blue. what a wonderful fourth of july! lincoln had their fireworks on the third, which are always spectacular. we met up with friends in the park to enjoy the show. kaden sat with me, holding on tight while he watched the explosions of color in the sky. kyri was in awe, as she cuddled her daddy. i love fireworks. great tradition to celebrate our freedom!

after going to church, the ernst family invited us over to their home to celebrate the fourth. good food. good friends. we did dinner pot-luck style and everyone also brought their own fireworks. the kids spent all day outside, playing in the pool. when it was finally dark outside...we had fun blowing stuff up! kaden was so funny to watch during the fireworks. he didn't like it when it would get really loud, but he also didn't want to turn away. the sparklers were a big hit with the kids. i just love that we can set off our own fireworks. so fun! i love being with friends, creating memories. kevin and i are surrounded by people that we love and cherish. so blessed. i would have to say this was my most favorite fourth of july yet!
