we're back! our second day was also spent at disneyland. there is just too much to accomplish in one day at that park! we were able to enjoy our "magic morning" and enter the park an hour early. all of the characters where there on main street for us to meet. kyri was so excited to see goofy! after kyri and daddy rode on the rockets, we met up with the ernst family. first stop...space mountain! we convinced kyri to go on it with us. oh man, i just love that ride! no wait, which makes it even more enjoyable. kyri's response to space mountain, "it goes too fast, mommy." maybe next time it will be her new favorite!
one of the rides that we just can't not go on...indiana jones. kev and i just think that rides the coolest. cause it is! we were able to go on it, while brian and lauri stayed with the kids. we felt like we were on our honeymoon again, just the two of us. it makes me smile to think that the first time we went to disneyland together, we were newlyweds. the second time we went, we were a family of three. now we are family of four. i love creating disneyland memories! kyri and gabriel were quite goofy together (as you can see from the pictures) and were having so much fun exploring the park! sometimes i wish i could see everything through the eyes of a four-year-old. i love their energy and excitement!
the downside to day two...it rained. only for a couple hours, on and off. we went into a restaurant when it first started, to stay dry and so i could feed kaden. we waited until it was just sprinkling. then we headed over to main street and did a little souvenier shopping, until the rain stopped. for dinner, we went to a mexican restaurant in frontier land. it was the best meal of the trip! the burrito was so yummy and worth every penny. before heading back to our hotel that evening, we were able to meet up with some friends that were there at the same time and visit with them for a bit. it was so good to see them at their kids! by the time is was bedtime, we were pooped. the next day, we would head over to california adventure...wooohooo! we couldn't wait to discover something new!
