the hornacek family: disneyland...day one.

our hearts were filled with glee as we arrived at the park...we were finally here! disneyland really is such a magical place. you can't help but smile when you are there. love it! our first day was perfect. we went on so many rides, no need to stand in long lines. we were able to take our time and soak it all in. the weather was gorgeous! sunny and just right. the kids were bright-eyed at every moment. they couldn't get enough! kyri had no fear on the rides. she is finally tall enough to go on just about everything. we made the mistake of taking them on haunted mansion...forgot how scary that ride is. they didn't like it so much. they LOVED the nemo ride and playing in toon town! kaden did so well, all day. he was able to go on pretty much every ride with us. he was so good in the stroller and took a few good naps. it was so nice being there with brian and lauri. so fun sharing memories with friends! we were also able to take turns going on the bigger rides, while we watched the little ones. worked out great!

to save time and money, we packed our lunch. for dinner, we HAD to get corn dogs! i have been craving a disneyland corn dog for years. it was everything i remember...greasy and oh so delicious! cotton candy was the treat for the day. why does it taste so much better when your in disneyland? it just does. we were all getting pretty tired by 9:00, which was perfect because the park was closing. kyri and gabriel both walked all day, such little troopers! by the time we walked back to the hotel, kyri was done. bath and bed...much needed rest for another day at disneyland!
