yesterday morning kevin and i were talking about how we needed to go back to redding sometime in the near future to visit our friends...especially the fleck family. later that morning, guess who called? the fleck family! they were in sacramento for a doctors appointment for their daughter zoe. they were wondering if we could meet up with them for lunch. it was so perfect because kevin has friday's off and we had no plans for the day. we met derrick, danielle, danielle's sister, judah and zoe at the old spaghetti factory and had a great time catching up over lunch. so much has gone on in our lives and in theirs since our last visit so we had a lot to share. it has been over a year since we have seen them and this was our first time meeting their precious 8-month old daughter, zoe. judah is such a big boy now and kyri had fun running around with him after lunch. there just happened to be a toy store next to the restaurant so we let the kids play in there for a while. it really was such a blessing to see them and share life with them for the afternoon. we sure do love catching up with old friends!
