trick-or-treat

kyri loved trick-or-treating! we took her last year, but she was just in her stroller, along for the ride. this year, she walked the entire time and loved every minute of it! we went trick-or-treating with my friend kerri, her two boys, and her brother and his family (our husbands were both at a youth group event). being that micah, kyri's best buddy, was with us, i knew she would have so much fun! we went to a really cool neighborhood where a lot of the houses were really decorated. there was a couple kyri was scared of that we skipped. kyri carried her bucket the entire time, even towards the end when it got quite heavy. she even held my hand (which she usually hates to do). i would ask her to say "trick-or-treat" at the door, but she would just look up at the person putting the candy in her bucket, and then walk away saying "thank you" and "ni-night". she also kept looking back at micah and say, "come on, micah". it was a great night, i just wish kev was with us. kyri knows nothing about candy and didn't eat any of it last night, but i know she had a great halloween...our little nemo!
