a very special sunday indeed!

we had a fabulous family easter sunday! it was just an all-around perfect day. sunday morning at emmaus with our wonderful church community, celebrating the risen king! then we were off to chico to spend the day with my family. my mom and her husband, mike, have a beautiful home in chico that has lots of space for the kids to play. the cousins had loads of fun! my mom cooked a turkey and we all brought sides. stephanie brought eggs for the kids to hide in the backyard. it was a little tricky because they have a swimming pool...a little dangerous for my curious kaden. dana brought his washer toss game that he made. that kept the boys busy. the weather was so delightful so we spent most of the day outside. it was so relaxing...the pomegranate margaritas made it even more enjoyable! i love spending time with my family and it makes me so happy when we spend holidays together. looking forward to going back on mother's day and creating more memories together!
