preschool.

our girl is officially a preschooler! kyri has started preschool at the mosaic christian academy and is totally in love. this is the first year for this co-op at a school designed for home-schooled children, which takes place at a church. we have a few friends from emmaus that have their children in the program. it is an awesome school! they offer classes on tuesday and thursday for preschool through high school. oh, and it's very family oriented and christ-centered, which is just awesome. kevin and i didn't know what we were going to do this year because preschool is so expensive. this preschool is basically free, other than supplies that we buy for the classroom. awesome! finding this co-op has been more than a blessing. we are three weeks in and so happy with our decision to go with mosaic!

when i asked kyri how her first day of preschool was, she said to me, "it was perfect!" priceless. she has made many new, precious friends. there are 12 kids in her class and all of the mom's are involved in every part of the day. we all sign-up for something different to do...circle time, art/math/science small groups, snack, large group, or child care. did i mention i get to bring kaden with me? that is one of the reasons i love this co-op so much! our classroom is right next door to the nursery so kaden is in the next room to mama. if i'm not helping in the class that day, i'm in with kaden and the other babies. there are two other baby boys kaden's age...so good for buddy. if i don't have any responsibilities that day, i can just drop off kyri (and kaden if i would like) and go run a few errands. nice little bonus. kyri loves that mommy and kaden get to go with school with her everyday. she has really enjoyed this new stage of life. it is so fun that i get to enjoy these special moments with my girl!
